There I’ve said it. I know you know it, but it’s hard to acknowledge because it means letting go.
Not just of the tough stuff that drains us to the last – and some, or the rough stuff that doesn’t fit well, which we know is meant for someone else anyway.
But it’s also the things we hope for, and in wishing hard enough, and long enough, and with all the visualisation that we can dream up, we hope will be safe.
Even that is out of our control.
And it’s okay.
Because what we can imagine, and plan and scheme for will never live up to the possibilities awaiting us.
If we open our eyes to the abundance around us and let go of trying to control it all.
