What is our fascinating narrative?

I’ve been around long enough to know that most of us have a core narrative.

Our default self-talk. And like our fingerprint, this isn’t simple to change.

Yet, perhaps we can cultivate a more positive tone rather than being trapped in its shadow side.

One of mine is ‘if … then’, which leads to my being weighed down by unhealthy obligations, missed opportunities and trapped in past failures.

Yes, I can rehearse a very long list of things I should have done or promised to do that could have built a different future.

But here’s the thing: I am here today. And today, I can choose to craft my narrative in a way that earths me in the verdant possibilities of this present now, not a conditional future.
