What about resistance?

If change is changing, then what about resistance?

The voice that doesn’t see the need for anything to be different and suggests we’ve got it all wrong. Or we’re missing the point.

Resistance isn’t always apparent and loud. It can be our internal chatter that celebrates what we’ve already achieved and wonders if doing any more is worth the effort.

Interestingly, it’s often the most recent changes – the improvements that have brought us today – that are the most vociferous resistors.

Yet usually in a much more subtle way, dressed up in words of affirmation that hinder our vision of a different future.

What’s your experience?
