It’s one of those astonishing Autumn mornings we see in the valley when the mist hangs over the lake, and the sun catches the autumnal colours in a blaze of light.
The frost hasn’t yet killed off the nasturtiums and their bright orange petals and vibrant green leaves frame the scene.
It’s time to breathe deeply…
Yet I sense for many of us, our breathing is quite shallow at the moment. The uncertainties and tension over what the future looks like keep us in a state of alert.
And the grind to just keeping going is wearing us out. We lose the habit of relaxing our shoulders and expanding our diaphragms.
Pause.
Relax and let go.
Breathe.
And breathe more deeply.
Then smile…
