The flow of water and life

Like water, life isn’t scalable.

At least not in taking a unit and multiplying through mechanical means. Or in recreating it elsewhere, without using up what we have here, in this place.

Once water is used, we have to wait until it returns naturally. Maybe in another form, or another place, because this is a closed system.

We can’t create more.

And each day, once spent, can’t be used again. Neither can we multiply the time we have.

Yet we can use water and life more intentionally. Cherishing its quality and being wise about its use.

It’s all about being present in the flow, with gratitude. Because life, and water, aren’t scalable.

Let’s choose to live well.
