Looking from the wrong end

Have you ever looked down a telescope or pair of binoculars from the wrong end?

It is a bit disorientating. The image is in miniature, a very long way off.

This morning I realised that I may be looking at my new beginning from the wrong end. Expecting things to be in the distance – taking a long time to come – when actually they’re close by.

How we view is a choice, and it makes a difference to what we do.
