This year it’s been Spring in slow motion.
Each day offers a fresh unfurling. A new emergence catches my eye.
And this morning brought a visible reminder of this.
On the skyline at the edge of the valley there are small clusters of trees. In full leaf, it’s hard to distinguish between them at this distance.
However, at their current stage of growth, the differences between them are clearly visible.
I’ve never seen this before. But I know it must be the same each year because they have been there for decades.
This gives me hope that in time we can each become the change we want to see.
Rather than expecting to be here today. And missing the rest of Spring.
