Words, when savoured, are delightful.
They are like the taste of good wine that lingers on the palate, revealing deeper layers.
The scent of loveliness as I walk past the honeysuckle bush along the green path in our valley.
Or the soft, salty breeze on a summer’s day by the shore, caressing face, hair and exposed limbs.
Words.
You can taste and feel them. They touch you and awaken something more…
… More than information, knowledge, or the mechanics of connection, tools for getting along.
I’ve been waiting for a better word to describe the kind of work I do with individuals, teams and collaboratives for some time. And this morning reading a tweet from Wild Monday – my extraordinary GP friend Rachel Morris – I found it:
“Immersive”
Isn’t it wonderful?
…It’s Friday – why not choose a word to accompany you into your weekend?
