Holding grief – a midweek Pause for Peace

Grief is not meant to be passed over quickly. It calls us to honour, to enter into the fullness of who or what was lost.

So today, I want to mark the death of every life that has been needlessly lost.

For the aliveness cut short.
For the dreams extinguished.
For the life that was worth living.
For the belonging that is no more.

May these not be in vain.
