Good beginnings don’t just happen

Good beginnings don’t just happen.

Because origins are a complex integration of past, present and future.

They are a unique expression in this place and time – a point in the river’s flow.

In realising their potential, they need particular care and attention while letting go of assumptions.

They require openness and vulnerability to germinate.

And generous space for them to emerge, with grace as the default.

Because beginnings don’t arrive fully grown.

And here’s the thing – good beginnings are never a solo venture.

By definition, they can’t be.

Fruit of a lovely conversation with my friend Kevin Smith – thanks.
