Cultivating kindness and light in our gaze

How we pay attention colours what we see.

If we exercise kindness, our gaze is softer, and we see the nuance, the details, and the interdependency. And less of the hard edges.

And if we welcome the light, we are far more likely to see life in its many shades.

So with belonging.

‘May there be kindness in your gaze when you look within.’

‘May you never place walls between the light and yourself.’

Beautiful words from John O’Donohue in his blessing For Belonging.
