Being open to seeing with the eyes of our heart

Many of us will be familiar with, and indeed cherish, the phrase from The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry:

“It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.” 

Yet, let’s not kid ourselves that this is some warm feeling that makes us smile.

It is far deeper than that.

This kind of seeing moves us, physically and figuratively.

It is the sight that leaves us wide open to engage with what might be, both for us and for others.
