Being in harmony with ourselves

We cannot truly belong if we are not bringing our whole selves. Our unique, one-of-a-kind being.

Or, to express it another way, our particular singularity and sense of belonging are inextricably connected. We cannot have one without the other.

It starts with our belonging to ourselves. We need to own who we are.

So, are we embracing who we are in all aspects of our lives? Or do we have some parts in sealed containers, hoping they won’t leak?

Lines from John O’Donohue’s blessing For Belonging help shine a light.

‘May you find a harmony between your soul and your life.’

and

‘May the sanctuary of your soul never become haunted.’

These beautifully crafted words help us have a much-needed conversation with ourselves.

Let’s sit with them and listen…

Pause. See differently. Re-story 🌿
