There’s a good reason why they talk about photography as ‘painting with light’ (John Hedgecoe).
So I find myself wandering around the valley, waiting for the sun’s rays to catch whatever I am noticing. And when it does, the result is extraordinary, bringing beauty to life.
Similarly, there are times when light seeds simply illuminate a word or a phrase. Enabling us to see its wisdom and beauty more fully.
Like waiting for the light, it requires a certain kind of stillness and expectation to see with the eyes of our soul.
it is a serious thing
just to be alive
